What Sets This Event Apart
This retreat is all about creating space for yourself. Giving you time to come back to the body, to press pause and reset.
Surrounded by nature at an award winning boutique resort in Chiang Mai, you'll be able to slow down and enjoy mindful movement classes taught by Ruth - an expert in her field with over 24 years of teaching experience.
Ruth makes the classes accessible to everyone and is well known for her ability to give every student individual guidance even in a class of many.
What You'll experience
Over the 4 days you'll tune in to body and mind through Pilates movement.
You will experience two Pilates group classes per full day - one energising class in the morning and another early evening with more focus on stretching and relaxing.
Your stay will include one sound meditation evening and one afternoon to experience Thai herbal steam and cold plunging! (No problem if you don't fancy the cold immersion!)
Here's what a typical full day will look like:

🌿Visit to a local outdoor spa to experience Thai herbal steam and ice baths (for those who want to!)
🌿A delicious, healthy Thai lunch
🌿Free time to swim, relax by the pool with a book, have a massage or explore the local area.
🌿An early evening wind down Pilates session.
🌿Dinner lovingly prepared by the resort with many ingredients grown in the resort vegetable garden!
The retreat is fully catered, starting with a welcome drink and treat on Friday afternoon, breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday made using vegetables grown in the resort's garden. (The resort can cater to those with food allergies or intolerances)
The Pilates classes are multi level so can be adjusted to accommodate aches & pains and mild injuries.

Pilates – Ruth is a Pilates and Movement specialist with over 24 years of teaching experience. Her love for Pilates was sparked during her Ballet training at The Royal Academy of Dance in London - realising how beneficial it was as a form of body maintenance and injury prevention.
